Mr Ross Tomkins MCSP Manging Director and Consultant Physiotherapist

Ross qualified in 1999 with a BSC (Hons) from Teesside University and has worked primarily within the sports medicine and occupational health fields ever since. Working with some of the world's largest companies such as Nissan and PepsiCo piqued his interest in ergonomics. However, smaller endeavours like a volunteer trip to Romania served to broaden his horizons within the health field. It was working in such varied environments where the importance of flexibility soon became apparent and in 2006 Therapy Direct was born in order to best serve his clients and modern society's needs. Continuous professional development has been of paramount importance and he regularly attends post-graduate courses in order to keep up to date with current research and the latest treatment techniques.

David has been practicing Yoga and Transcendental meditation since 1999. His background comes from both Iyengar and Dynamic Yoga, he then became fascinated in the Vinyasa flow of Ashtanga and decided to follow this path.
